MOAH AIILINZZ

Here's a little more Star Wars aliens for you. Tecnically even those of human species are alien too since none of them are from our planet. Well...let's call this "More Star Wars characters" then.

A Long Time ago...right here.

First of all I gotta say it: I LOVE STAR WARS. It was part of my childhood and, along with comics, the reason I started drawing and making up stories. My older brother and I used to make our own spaceships and play sets with cardboard, glue and paper and we even customized our action figures to create all new characters or 'outfits'. It was funny that we always had to make stories of how we needed to rescue Princess Leia because our mother wouldn't want to buy us any Princess Leia action figure since it was a 'doll' and "Boys Do Not Play With Dolls" she said back then.
Though I will always remember fondly how my mom thoroughly disinfected my Darth Vader action figure when I accidentally let it fall in the toilet. I thought she was the coolest mom in the galaxy just for doing that!
My dad always, and I mean ALWAYS, had the most loving attitude and patience towards us when my brother and I decided that we needed a "music score" while playing with our toys an decided to use his vynil record player. He taught us how to operate the turntable and he set aside all the Star Wars, MECO and Movie Soundtrack LPs on his collection for us to choose. I will always be grateful for that.

No wonder I could make all these so easily. I think I will make more because after all they are Star Wars characters!
And here's why people like me love this 'Star Wars' thing. It becomes part of our lives in ways that everyone can relate on their own terms and all those memories and experiences can be recalled with a great smile and the silent thankfulness that George Lucas decided to go on and make this happen against all odds.

That's why I love STAR WARS.

A Fashion-Hero Design I did for a client. She's actually quite a fashionista and one of the nicest people I've met.

Team

This is an unused character design for a client. They had a fruit drink for kids enriched with vitamins that make their bones healthier and stronger. Hence the exo-skeleton armor. I think it works better than a colorful bunch of undead zombies. You KNOW which ones I'm talking about! :)

My Super-hero proposal: Giver

Not your average super hero

When I heard that the Stan Lee Foundation had an open call to artists all over the world to create a new super-hero character for them I jumped at the chance. The thing is that I did not want to create a classic, square-jawed hero with the stereotypical holier-than-thou attitude or the angst-ridden 8o's hero nor the extreme killing dude of the 90s.
After a few days thinking about it I came up with a character that could really relate to today's world.
