Story

This is a short, two-page story I wrote and illustrated for LENGUA Magazine. The Issue's theme was about "Big-Sizing" in every aspect. This is a story about collecting and how far out of check it can get.
Black and white. Originally published in Spanish language.

Orange Characters

This is a character design made for Orange Dominicana. Animated shorts were made and we all needed to know them well.

Marvelous Pin-ups.

Pinup art and comics are a match made in heaven for me. So, as soon as I get a chance to put these two together I just go for it. Like this lovely She-Hulk here
Here I took one of those small sketches I keep doodling in the most inappropriate pieces of paper and developed into a full illustration for my own pleasure -Well, not really since this is the most Viewed and 'Faved' entry in my Deviant Art gallery. I even found this same image in other websites. My She-Hulk is going places. I just hope MARVEL notices.

The Process

Comic Books have become one of my main sources of inspiration. Once I read MARVEL comics mini-series Secret Invasion I felt the urge to make this image and use it as a quick example of the creative process.
I can't believe people get paid too do this. It is so much fun.

Character sketch

Roughs! I have boxes full of 'em. I think that the point of keeping them is to have the chance to share them. Like this one.
It was a character study for a Fruit drink product. The character had to be spunky, dynamic, good-looking...all those traits that merchandising people think kids relate to the most.
Me? I just let the character come alive. I draw and wonder what would 'he' do in certain situations. If I don't do that then the character lacks life and credibility.
